Guest DatsyukianDeke13 Report post Posted April 12, 2010 Four things would need to happen: The Wings beat the Coyotes The Blackhawks beat the Predators The Kings beat the Canucks The Sharks beat the Avalanche That is the only way the Wings and Hawks would meet in the second round. So by beating Phoenix, we would play who, San Jose/Colorado winner?

Wing Across The Pond 196 Report post Posted April 12, 2010 If two same-seeded teams reach the SCF who gets home ice? I understand that a higher seed will take home ice but say the Wings meet the Sens in the finals, who takes home advantage? Obviously 1v1 is Caps for winning the Pres, but 2v2? 3v3? etc... Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted April 12, 2010 Well I think we can all agree that after years of preaching parity, these are the closet the teams have been in terms of ability to beat each other than they have been awhile. Unlike most years, I have a hard time picking favorites. Western Conference 1. San Jose Sharks vs. 8. Colorado Avalanche: A week ago I would have said Avs in 6, but Anderson haesn't been so hot lately and as a whole they have cooled down. For some reason though, I still think they will pull it out in 7, which is a shame, as I for one wish San Jose would have some luck sometime down the road. 2. Chicago Blackhawks vs. 7. Nashville Predators: Wow, another doozy, I honestly would not be suprised in the least at any result besides a a sweep for eitehr teams. Blackhawks in 7 3. Vancouver Canucks vs. 6. Los Angeles Kings: Canucks in 6. King's are real good, but they aren't there yet. 4. Phoenix Coyotes vs. 5. Detroit Red Wings: Wing's in 7, I really think this series will be a lot tougher then people think, Bryzgalov is just as good as any other goalie imo, and they are hot. Eastern Conference 1. Washington Capitals vs. 8. Montreal Canadiens: Caps in 5 2. New Jersey Devils vs. 7. Philadelphia Flyers: Devils in 6 3. Buffalo Sabers vs. 6. Boston Bruins: Sabers in 6 4. Pittsburgh Penguins vs. 5. Ottawa Senators: Pens in

New Jersey Devils vs. 7. Philadelphia Flyers Devils in 6 3. Buffalo Sabers vs. 6. Boston Bruins Bruins in 6 4. Pittsburgh Penguins vs. 5. Ottawa Senators Penguins in 6 The only upset I see as of now is the Kings over the Canucks. The Avs will be done quickly, their youth as caught up to them I think. In the East, there will be a few tough ones but nothing that scares the top 4 teams.
