Ouch. Can't say I'm terribly surprised.

In related news, Rick Tocchet has been contacted by the Flyers to join the club as their 3rd goalie.

And it's deserved. To have that much offensive talent and to not atleast make the playoffs as an 8 seed is a crime.

So do I, big fan of Vinny, Marty and Steven "Not ready for the NHL" Stamkos.

The team has a lot of talent, just need to find a better system.

Best of luck to them.

They are definitely primed to be a scary team. As with the lack of surprise that everyone else shares, a strong coach could turn this team into a force.

They're got a lot of potential weaponry on that team. It shouldn't be that hard to put together a halfway decent team. Over the summer they should make some smart moves and augment their team, which is unlikely considering that Tampa Bay seems completely incompetent year in and year out.

I'd say Dave Nonis....can't think of any other experienced GM out there that might be available.
