Sun is shining, birds are chirping and playoff hockey in the air! It really is the most wonderful time of the year! Today is not going to go by fast enough! I'm already having trouble concentrating! C'mon boys a full 60 please!

This is kinda bittersweet -- my first ever game at the Joe was a playoff game against Winnipeg.. We won that series

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

They shouldnt go there with the intention of "stealing one of their two home games" as zetterberg said it, it's a race to 4 not a 7game series, they should go there and do everything possible to win those two and then straight back home and win those two, get rest, re-focus, and start the next series.

I think the thoughts in their head's are like they would be so happy going home from phoenix tied 1-1... but sacrifice more and they could be up 2-0.. are they willing to do that or are they pleased with 1-1... im not sure... hockey psychology...

It feels so weird to be starting a playoff series on the road. In the first round no less.

Also, in the last two years, we went up 2-0 in all but one playoff series.
