It just seems like an attempt to boost post totals and is an otherwise useless thread topic... I could see if it were a combo thread...

GDT + 2000 posts for a Wings win... that might make some sense, but even then, I don't like them.

If that were the case, then if anything, it works even less... that's 1 year of success out of 6-8 years of doing these threads...

These have been around forever and a day. They are a great source of photos, have friendly banter, and don't hurt anyone.

Sometimes they work; sometimes they don't. Just like every other superstition. The main thing is that those of us who like posting in them have fun.

Not reading them is always an option. Not trying to be snotty or sassy. Just saying.

Don't get me wrong, I do think it's useless also. I agree with you, posting 1000, 2000, or even 10000 won't get you to win a cup it's non sense, but I guess it's just for fun.

I have no problem with anybody else's superstitions.

That said, I do stay out of those threads and i've never posted in one of the "x number posts for victory" threads and probably never will.

Why? Because I think they're retarded. Just my honest opinion.

I do think it should stop though only cause we started off with a loss so why keep doing it?
