Hilarious! :D

Especially funny how the players are desperately trying to not laugh and ignore them, "Its a playoff game dammit, mustn't relax and have fun or coach will kill me"
"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

I thought that was a Michigan State thing? Cause they showed them doing it while Johnson, a UM alum, was sitting in the box...did they do it every time a King player was in the box?

No you are not. I'm sure a lot of people know where the green man suit came from, that is one of the funniest episodes but is used so widely in sports now that people probably don't think about it.

Why.

You see fans dress up all the time in various costumes. What's so different between these guys and some guy in a Viking suit.

Nope, not the only two.

Something tells me those two green men probably aren't on acid either.

I think it was pretty funny, but I agree that I'm surprised that arena security doesn't reign them in a bit. "Why?"... For the same reason they do it in arena when you do things like hang on the glass, or pounded on it excessively, or do other "over the top" stuff. I think their "normal" dancing stuff is fine, but they seemed to really turn the wick up last night!

Those who didn't enjoy it are just party poopers. I thought they were hilarious.

These guys are my new heros! This will go on until Gary makes it go away, as it may cause to much of a "distraction"

I was just about to ask whether anyone actually understood the origins of the "Green Man". Charlie is the absolute man. Personally, I'm more disposed to the Original Kitten Mittens, but this works too.

Dayman! Aooohhhhhhhhohhhhhhhhhhhh! Fighter of the Nightman! Aoooooooooohhhhhhohhhhhhhhhh!! Champion of the sun!

And I laughed my ass off last night watching this.

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y
