Datsyuk is playing really great imo, but he's not getting any help. If we haven't scored when there's 10 minutes left I say Babs should go ZDH.

I think now is a good time to go find something to eat for dinner. I'm hoping the 3rd period is about a squillion times better than the 2nd was, or else there's going to be some peeved people around here. Myself included. <_<

What a lazy pass. I knew that once they turned that over the yotes were going to score. Just get the damn puck out of the zone there was 40 seconds left in the period.

This all just goes back to the 2nd period on Friday night and the first half of the 2nd period this afternoon. When the Red Wings decide to lay down a consistent forecheck, finish all of their checks and not chase the puck the Coyotes buckle under the pressure. The didn't do any of that for the 2nd half of the period and they're trailing in the game because of it.

It's almost comical the night-and-day turnaround it is facing this Phoenix team when you turn the physical game back around on them.

Well, with only 1 goal to show for it, its apparent that you and others critical of Howard right now need him to play mistake free hockey in order to win a game. So who is diverting blame here?

I'm commenting on one player's sub-par performance. The defense doesn't make his performance any better than it is. And visa versa.

You don't see me getting into a discussion with people who are giving the defense s*** for their terrible play, are you?

Not a good sign. They are playing the Blue Jackets entrance music.

the lack of fire and guts this team is showing right now is sickening
Don't take it from fans on LGW, take it from his peers. NHL players have spoken and they think Tootoo is the dirtiest player in the league.

Get a clue already.

I'm usually pretty optimistic but I don't recognize this team right now. Don't have a good feeling. Hope I'm wrong.

Your bias against Howard is quite obvious as you are clearly talking out your ass. The Wings have had more opportunities but are not burying their chances. The stats show this quite well. Its time to put the blame straight where it belongs, on the lack of intensity and hunger of the forwards and defenseman of the Wings.

Franzen cannot control any puck from Datsyuk and that results no production from the frist line..

Looks like they're going to try to sit on this lead. Hopefully they're as good at it as the Wings are. ;)

Still waiting for the Wings to string 2 passes together. Hopefully we see it before the end of the game.

shocking more play along the boards + losing most of the puck battles = no offense.

I'm shocked. No I'm not.

And I'm not shocked that the Wings are on the PK here, they aren't moving their feet on defense.
