don't drop the octopus when swinging it over your head, all that did in game 3 was send a bad omen to the team
thanks,
Red wings fans everywhere
Umm... ya.
Let's translate your post into what it really is:

Ilitch should tell Al to swing the octopus right at center ice. I'm sure Ilitch would happily and personally delivery the check to Gary Bettman for the fine that the team would incur.
Hell, I'd donate to the cause.
"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base. From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!
Total right now: $108.

excuse me for being superstitious, but if anybody else is like me they put 2 & 2 together and saw that the octopus swing failed and so did the wings. i know they have nothing to do with each other but being superstitious those are the stupid things you look at.
i mean does it really affect the team if you dont have your lucky socks on during the game? no but thats part of what makes being a fan so fun

Don't take Crymson too seriously... he's LGW's version of these guys:

Thanks TeeMan!
