From Gunaxin.com "There are many hated players in the NHL, but several of these thugs are actually good people, considering their charity work and locker room loyalty. But others are just plain scum, do bad things for their team, enrage other teams, and have bad reputations among fans. Yes, some are debatable, but here are Gunaxin’s picks for the ballot of “Which NHL Player Would You Want to Punch in the Face?”

I wish you could vote for more than one. I voted for the current lead vote-getter....guess who?

If that means punched in a face in civil I'd say no one as I generally don't "hate" any player. They're only players and you don't judge them as human beings based on what they do on the ice. If you wanna judge them as human beings, then you need to look what they've done off-ice. And I don't think many of us really know what players do in civil. To hate some player because he scores a goal against your team, plays nasty or something like that is just stupid. They can be totally different guys in real life. Hockey is just a game.

It's a different thing if that means punched in a face in a hockey fight or something like that because that's part of the game and players usually agree to fight the other players. Hoping for player X to get hit by a bus etc. is always related to civil life, not the game on ice and therefore it's pretty weird too.

Also, if a player sucks and doesn't play as you like, it's totally stupid to start hating him because of that. It's also funny to see hate towards players who are overpaid. The GM offers a contract to Brian Campbell and he agrees to it (wouldn't you?) and suddenly all the fans hate the player - and usually the person too even though they've probably never even met him - because his cap hit is too big.

Hockey is just a game people.

Pronger, Cooke, yep, those are good choices... I mean, you know, if I were a half a foot taller, 70 lbs. heavier, and a guy, lol. If I somehow magically gained a ton of upper body strength or if he lost it, I bet I could have a halfway fair fight with Sean Avery...I've definitely got a height advantage, haha. I'd rather just have a trash talk fest with Avery though; he seems to be better at that, anyway.

np ferry perry? wow

I'll do the honors, hillbilly...I have to walk past a cardboard cut-out of that %$#* every time I go ice skating. I'm thinking of switching to the other rink in town, even if it is a longer drive.

Hehe, last time we were there, my friend says, "Who is that? He wouldn't be my first choice to put on a big sign, that's for sure..." to which I cheerfully answered, "Yeah, well, he's a jerk, too." Friend: "Well there you go, the outside reflects inside." Aaaand that's why she's my friend. ;)

As much as I hate Crosby, Mike Ribero needs to get his face ***** slapped. I would have to pick him. Enough people will punch Crosby for me. Can't let Ribero escape unscathed!
