Avs, Preds, and Kings start to realize they can win.... and what do they do?? stink up the place. I got my money on the East this year. I just don't see enough quality goaltending on any team out West this year.

The East downright stinks save for two teams. Most of the bottom teams would not have even made the POs in the West.

As much as I like the Caps - played 6 games per year against Fla, Tampa, Atlanta, and Carolina - not to mention you get the Leafs and Isles 4x - well s*** any team should win the Pres Trophy. (still hoping Caps come out of East).

Kings and Preds are tied 2-2 don't give up yet. The Sharks by all rights should have swept the Avs - but well they're the Sharks. They really should have been down 0-3 save for a last ditch effort in game 2. Don't worry though - there is plenty of time for them to fold yet....

You actually have to make the playoffs once in a while to choke Besides the 21st century, the Red Sox were the best at choking.

That's a good point. However, in baseball, making the playoffs deserves quite a celebration itself. Didn't the Tigers choke horribly down the stretch last year and failed to make the playoffs or something like that?

Yeah. They lost a 3 game lead with 4 games left, and then lost the tie-breaker game.

Not yet 20 seasons in the NHL, so my team has some time before they reach Cub or Red Sox level.
