As Howard kept the Wings tied, they kept coming. Notice after Detroit went ahead, look how close into the goal line Bryzfuglien is. When the wings were coming in the last 9 minutes, Bryz lost confidence and just stood on the goal line, but you can't tap dance on a line in 50 lbs of hockey pads for long until it gets blown the f*** up.

I can't get over that pass by Franzen. Just sick. Followed by a sick backhander that beats Bryz glove side only a couple feet out. Just an overall sick play. I love watching Pavel do the double pumpfist too because he knows he did something wonderful.

Nope, he knew what he was doing all the way--it's similar to the famous goal vs Nashville where he stole the puck coming around the net and froze the goalie with that one quick move and then roofed in on the backhand.

i think dats should experiment with shooting first passing second next season.

Yeah, I've been giving Franzen a lot of grief (much of it deserved) for his performance so far against Phoenix, but maybe part of that is we're used to seeing him finish plays and Datsyuk set up those plays, and now the roles have been reversed in this series. All of Datsyuk's goals have come from really truly brilliant passes from Franzen.
