All they had to do was hang onto the puck, not hard when you have an extra guy. Terrible blind pass by Erat to start the Hawks' rush.
"We've been in the same spot all year long. We won 50 games for the fourth year in a row. People think we're just hum-drum and boring.
No, you know what we are, we're good. You can't do what we do every single day and not be good." - Mike Babcock

That as an embarrassingly stupid play in the offensive zone. Why was Nashville shooting at all? The Hawks were just sitting back, just pass it around.

Awful.

I want to see super long overtime :D

At least until the Sens-Pens game starts.

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y

This is just like the time I made love to a Portugese Hooker. It was the best sex I've ever had, but she gave me herpes.

Nashville still has 3:57 on the PP, there is no reason they should still lose this game.
It is not a sprint, yet a marathon.

Whomever that Pred was that tried to center the puck from behind the net should be hogtied to the bench. When you have a PP in the last minute and you're on the PP, you just kill time. Keep the puck in the corner and try to maintain the cycle.

God, I am so livid. I mean, I can't believe I'm rooting for Nashville first of all, but to completely blow it with a 5:00 PP at the end of the game? And 1 of the PKers is in the neutral zone?

They better pull this out.

I think it was Erat...? Certainly a sin worthy of Seppuku.

Funny thing is it's the same guy who scored the tying and go ahead goal <_<

NBC just named Erat after Kane scored an EN goal. Didn't Erat play good this game before the Kane goal?

Losing now might qualify for the biggest choke in history. Giving up a shorthanded goal when the only thing you have to do to win is NOT give up a shorthanded goal. My god.

Isn't their PP 0-for-24 or 0-for-25 in the series?
