Howard was terrible.

This was just a game the Wings couldn't win no matter what. Posts, missed empty nets, ridiculous non-calls and ridiculous penalties. Crazy bad bounces and a weak Howard combines to a devastating loss.

Now we're stuck with a Game 7 which can go either way. Considering how badly the bounces went today, going into a game where one bad bounce decides the series is not where the Wings want to be right now...

Other than the first goal, I don't see how he played terrible?

Yes the first goal Jimmy should have had after that he had no chance on any of them... 2nd goal fluke bounce off kronwall, 3rd goal amazing shot by vrbata, 4th crappy ass bounce and 5th was a great deflection.

I'm not saying Jimmy was solid, he wasn't but to say he was terrible is wrong.

Agreed. Who would have thought Phoenix would win today after we took Games 4 + 5? The entire series has been back and forth, so it's our turn Tuesday. Also the road team is 2-1.

You know what, I think we'll be ok on Tuesday. Games in Phoenix are almost like home games anyway. And I wonder too if Phoenix will have one of those situations where they should have saved a goal or two for Game 7. I've seen it many times where a team wins big and can't have it continue the next game.

Phoenix got a lot of bounces go their way tonight, the Wings didn't, things should even out. Plus we've been coming back all year.

Whatever happens, Tuesday night should be fun!

Yeah, sadly Game 7's don't care who the better team is.

I hate not knowing which Wings team will show up, although they didn't play all that bad today. It was just one of those terrible bad luck games where everything was stacked against them.

I consider the disgusting PK and PP play to be aberration, like in Game 1, so I'm not concerned in that front.

Wings need to protect their own crease better than they did today. Looking at the replay there's always at least one Phoenix player standing untouched right in front of Jimmy.

Meanwhile even when the Wings score, there's three Yotes players right around their net clearing out players and rebounds.

This is why 5 goals happen on 20 ish shots. You cant leave people all alone in front of the net. this team does this all the time. Its freakin aggrevating. This s*** is hockey 101.

Folks...it does not look good. Wings have been outplayed in this series. I cant even think of a moment in the series when we were on top. Late GWG could be considered lucky. The Wings will really have to get their act together to win game 7.

Absolutely PISS POOR EFFORT today. Getting all those PPs and glorious 2 inches from Bryzfuglien chances during the first period and MISSING THEM. Team committed a bunch of Lebdas in the 2nd period, and the 3rd just paraded around like they were on a Union Break.
