Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 yeah these old stats are useless. we are in a new era in hockey. While that's true, prior stats can be a great predictor for future stats.
ami 273 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 now only this season counts! I'm sure Wings will win next game because it will NOT be AM game. Red Wings have terrible record this season for AM games 1-7-2. The only win was an overtime win over CHI on final game of the regular season. redwing711 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 I don't like our chances, were either due or doomed. Or maybe its because we've always been at home in game 7s for so many years Rather than looking at ancient history, look at this series and you'll feel more positive. They've played 6 games, 3 at home, 3 on the road. They've won 2 on the road and 1 at home. I think we win in Phoenix.
GORM19 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) I don't like our chances, were either due or doomed. Or maybe its because we've always been at home in game 7s for so many years we didn't win in road game five since 1964 and we won game 5 in the desert so have some faith my friend GO WINGS GO Edited April 26, 2010 by GORM19
Firehawk 305 Report post Posted April 26, 2010 I like this stat better: When the wings have 48 hours or more to prepare for a playoff game (like tomorrow) they are 8-1. When they have less than 48 hours (like Friday to SUnday games), they are 1-5. Said it on the news and radio today.
