Looking for the silver lining here....but based on a strictly wild hair number analysis Detroit wins tonight.....

Before Game 5 Phoenix had won the odd numbered games which would have yielded a game 7 victory at the end had the pattern continued Detroit broke the pattern and promptly lost game 6. So it stands to reason the Wings now win the odd numbered games!

Screaming at VS announcers tonight in Atlanta....

Mule comes alive tonight FINALLY!

Nope he can't be put back in till next season.

If the wings play badly, could we be watching Nick Lidstrom's last game ever?

Trick question, we are going to win.

Go wings.

I did know that I was ust remembering his "clutchness" come playoffs (minus last year <_< ) I would certainly like him now.

Just did an NHL 10 sim:

Wings 4 (Dats x2 (OT), Stuart, Eaves)

Yotes 3 (doesn't matter)

Yotes 2/3 on PP, Wings 1/1. (Seems unrealistic but they may let them play)

Howard 18 saves, Bryz 35

Hits: Wings 39, Yotes 20

Doan starts game but leaves after 1st period with injury (yeah, it happened in the game, hipcheck by Rafalski laugh.gif)

3 stars:

3. Kronwall, 2A, +2

2. Datsyuk 2G, +2

1. Stempniak 2G, 1A, +2

I've been quiet positive this season compared to last season.. but when they continue to rack up pathetic performances one will eventually lose all hope...simple as that

It is funny when you are being positive. It's like that moment you see a super strict angry class teacher smile at a fart joke.

Not gonna jump off a bridge if they lose, but a win would be pretty sweet. I really want to see a Sharks-Wings series.

I think the game will be decided early. If the Wings can score on Bryz so he doesn't get "in the zone", and Howard gets to make some early stops to boost his confidence I believe the Wings will win.

Prediction:

3-1 Wings. Franzen, Zetterberg (EN), Lidstrom.

Hit.

Pressure.

Crash net.

Score.

Defend.

Repeat.

And I don't care about inflated post counts, quit f'n trolling Mindfly. Your increasingly negative posts serve no purpose other than to instigate. You've given up on this team, so what's the point with all this crap??

Go Wings!!!
