I can't say I saw that coming. How much of that was Phoenix being overwhelmed by the occasion? Because if the 'Yotes played well, then look out, Western Conference. Detroit dominated everything in that game.

I have to admit, I feel bad for the Coyotes and their fans. First time ever, after a playoff series, that I've had even an iota of sympathy for the other team. Congrats to the 'Yotes and their fans on a great season. Those guys were really good and I just couldn't work up any hate for them.

That won't be a problem against the Sharks. GO WINGS!!

I don't even really care what happens going forward. If you would have told me that this team would make it past the first round let alone make the playoffs back in December, I would have slapped you. They've already exceeded my expectations, anything more is gravy.

The team really elevated their play tonight and played like a team. They looked great out there. Now play like that against San Jose and we are looking at a Conference Final.

Wings couldn't possibly have played a better Game 7. Most complete game they've played in this series, maybe all season.

Datsyuk was a beast, Zetterberg was fantastic, Lidstrom was huge, Filppula looked like a superstar, everyone else was great too.

So happy right now. I look forward to the Sharks-Wings series so much. Should be a very memorable series.
