Humble pie to myself as I thought they were f*cked tonight yet they had arguably their best game when it counted so kudos for that. Sucks that Jimmy probably should have had another SO but he was great tonight anyway.

I firmly believe we can beat the Sharks. We had their number all year and won both games in their building, plus they had serious issues with the Avs.

I'd also like to congratulate the Yotes for making it this far, having a great season after last year. They put up a great series, most games were pretty damn close. Why is it that when I sit down to watch a full game, the Wings sucked the chrome off of a trailer hitch? But when I don't pay attention to them at all, they completely jail sex the opponent .

Red Wings win 6-1 and take the series win 4-3! Wings will face the San Jose Sharks in the 2nd round! Shame my parakeet missed all of this (died several days before the playoff began ).

Nice to see the Coyote fans saluting their team. Where were they during the regular season, though .

Nice to see the fans cheering like that, and the players saluting them. Who knows, maybe this will spur something in Phoenix.

Try as I might, I couldn't really must a lot of hate for the Coyotes. They weren't especially deep on talent, but were hard working and showed a lot of heart.

Considering I wasn't sure this team would even make the playoffs, it's great to see the Wings moving on to the second round.

From Datsyuk to Draper & Lidstrom to Lilja that was an absolutely dominant performance. One of those games where no one had a bad game. It is games like that which make me realize that this team is capable of winning the Cup.

I was pessimistic before the game but the Wings in tonight was surely the form of 2008 Champion team. Hopefully the Wings play great against the Sharks. Go Wings !
