I'm not fan for renaming trophies, but I'll make an exception for Ted Lindsay.
I agree!
Or for changing the Messier Leadership Award to the Yzerman Leadership Award.

While I think the idea of renaming the NHL's trophies is completely asinine I do like to see Lindsay get some recognition.

Do you guys think there should be another award for D-men for top offensive D-men instead of just the Norris?. Mike Green is a good offensive D-men but not one of the top Defensive D guys in the League. I think the League gets blinded by guys like Green who are ok on D but put up points like a forward. I think the Norris should be for the Best D-man and should have like a Coffey or Orr award for best offensive D-man.

Exactly. The award is the one award voted on by the players, so it makes sense to have it named after a player rather than a prime minister.I doubt it because this is a recognition for his work establishing the NHLPA more than his production as a player

They may change others after this one maybe they are starting with one to see how its accepted and go from there, Lady Bing should be next, some shouldnt be touched though.
