s*** D and where the hell was Howard on that one? Way out of position.

Howard was where he should be. Covering the near post and ready for the wraparound. Defense has to pick up the guy in the middle. Four guys watched him score. Disgusting.

Called home ice advantage

it's called a needless icing by helm.

gotta think helm is playing hurt - he has been a very pale shadow of the player he has been the past 2 years so far.

Ugh...this is why Phoenix scared me. Phoenix SUCKS offensively! San Jose's one of the better offensive teams out there, even if Joe Thornton continues in his terrible playoff ways. If Phoenix was capitalizing off our mistakes and defensive weaknesses, San Jose would have a field day. We're going to have to play a hell of a lot better, but more so, a lot SMARTER against San Jose or we're going to help them shake their choker status real fast.

That said, Detroit is still strong enough to win this series and even this game if they get their s*** together NOW! No reason we can't win this at all.

Sharks = hungry

Detroit = ******* fancy pants. Is somebody going to ever just take a shot on goal. What's with the fraggin ice capades out there. Quit trying for the perfect play and start putting the puck on net, and then go crash and get rebounds.

Wings have trouble defending skill players who are big. Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, etc.... Joe Thornton, Heatley, Clowe = big guys. Could be tough sledding for us whenever Nick isn't out there.
