By the way how does it work that we had to play today when the other series both closed out early? Just like last year in the SCF when they decided to "move up" the games and it screwed us?

Couldnt get jack all started there, gotta be better on Sunday. This whole hot and cold s*** is getting really old, someone should tell the Wings you aint winning the cup if every series goes 7

I know the officiating was a joke, but our special teams ultimately cost us the game.

You have to do a better job of overcoming adversity, and we didn't.

Back to the drawing board on special teams. No consistency from game to game.

Sharks played a good game but f*** the refs.


Flip needed to be better this game. Not a strong game from him.

s***ty start+awful special teams=loss. I liked how we played as it went on and if we get the PP going we could probably win game two.

even though we lost that i gained more confidence we can still win the series. the sharks are not that good.

Yeah, but we didn't score a single one. 0 for 5 is quite a stat

True story. Not denying that. We just can't fault the Wings for not stopping what could be considered an almost impossible kill and a very difficult kill. If we had a 5 on 3 and a 4 on 3 and didn't score, it would be a different situation.
