Not frustrating because I thought the late game 7 in Pheonix made us tired to win game 1 but I am gonna be mad if we do not split the first 2 games in SJ. Hopefully the Wings show up in game 2 and come back to Detroit with the tied score.

im not really that upset, we spot these ******* 3 goals, and then get f***ed in the ass by the refs for 2 goals, and we lose by only 1.

We lost game 1 last series too, remember how that turned out? dont worry yet guys...a little brain fart in the first and a horrible call on Franzen that resulted in a goal, other than that we played pretty well. Still in 6

It's weird.....we had more control of the puck throughout the game but they had the WAY better shots/chances. Hard to judge must from this one......except the refs are horrid.

Like the Wings' effort in this game - working past some rough calls/no calls and making the Sharks earn it. Gotta come out faster in the 1st period. I'm not afraid for the rest of the series. Our boys are gonna come to play on Sunday, looking forward to it.

Not so hot special teams.

Wings give up 3 goals in 5.3 milliseconds of brain farting and then decide to wake up.

Bright side of this is lots of ticky tack s*** that probably won't happen again. Wings PK will be better. Wings PP will be better. Wings had the better of it for long portions of this. Sharks won but they had to scratch and claw and give everything to get it. It's going to be a long series.

Sharks don't really scare me. Outside of that 3 minute burst, they had very little.

The refs were piss poor, soft calls all around the whole game, really disgusting to watch. But this game was lost in 1:20 in the first. That was absolutely pathetic. Sharks had nothing but the countless powerplays for the rest of the game. I'm seething over this one, 3 goals in 80 seconds?? Honestly...

Sharks played a great game, the wings buried themselves early but a nice effort to make it close. Should be a good series regardless if the wings win or lose.

Well, no make up calls, refs gave this game to Sharks with the PATHETIC dives by Japagapagoochi. A goal and 2 asst by a murderer who should be in jail, or dead. Lets see, get drunk, kill my buddy, make millions of dollars and play for the Holy Grail. Wings owned this game until refs fell for the two DIVES. Can the Wings EVER get a fair game called for them? f*** refs, f*** SHarks, f*** Heatly the murderer...

sharks didnt score on a one man advantage. they did but homer didnt even have time to get into the play.

wings continue to play 5 on 5 like they did tonight and score some PP goals theyll be fine. GO WINGS!

I know the officiating was a joke, but our special teams ultimately cost us the game.

You have to do a better job of overcoming adversity, and we didn't.

Back to the drawing board on special teams. No consistency from game to game.

Powerplay was bad.

The 5 on 3 wasn't terrible, but Howard let in a stinker through the five hole. After that 3-0 drubbing the Wings and Howard played much better.

Should be a good game on Sunday.

we were probably 5-4 for full time for only 2 of those.

Refs won the game for them. 5 on 3, 4 on 3. BS calls.
