Recommended Posts

EAST

(4)Pittsburgh v. (8)Montreal

(6)Boston v. (7)Philadelphia

WEST

(1)San Jose v. (5)Detroit

(2)Chicago v. (3)Vancouver

My predictions:

Pittsburgh over Montreal in 5 (makes me sick to have to admit it)

Boston over Philadelphia in 6

Detroit over San Jose in 6

Chicago over Vancouver in 7

Wings in 7

Blackhawks in 7

Penguins in 5

Bruins in 6

The West feels more open than the East. Although that's how I felt before Round 1 and there ended up being no (real) upsets in the West and 3 in the East.

This would be perfect as all four are Original 6 teams.

And obviously Pittsburgh isn't one of them.

exactly. i don't like the habs, but i'm going with the lesser of 2 evils. i hope the pens get knocked out of the playoffs while wearing the baby blue jerseys...just to make it that much better when crysby starts pouting and bursting into tears. i hope he goes pointless!

Call me crazy, but I think the Habs might just pull it off. The Pens didn't impress me too much against Ottawa and Halak is a man on a mission. Never been a fan of the Habs, but if they can eliminate the Pens I'd be very happy.

There is no "upset" in the Bruins vs Flyers series. Neither team expected to be here and now one of them is going to the conference finals. A successful season for either team, win or lose.

the only reason the pens beat the lackluster sens is because of crosby's 14 points in 6 games. fleury was a sieve. if crosby gets injured, the pens are so f***ed!
