Bill McCreary and Paul Devorski, two of the NHL's most senior referees, are among the 12 men picked to look over the on-ice action for the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I kinda wish they'd list the 12 directly, easy to miss who's actually in there. Noteworthy to me... Tim Peel who has a hard time following the puck (didn't call the play after hitting the mesh in TWO Wings-Sharks games) Brad Watson, O Halloran dislike for obvious reasons... but I think O Halloran deserves it, just not for Wings games. I get a sick feeling everytime I hear the name Marc Joanette too, haven't enjoyed any game where he's the ref. Chris Lee is okay... McCreary and Devorski I like though. O'Rourke... I think he's the guy that called diving on Montreal 3 times, as well as gave us the early PPs against phoenix in game 6. Not too sure about him. FischersChick2 1 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 So I'm a giant NERD and I keep records of every officiating error (missed call, bad call, "intent", etc) because like I said NERD. ANNNNNYWHOOOO, I took at look at my records and 7 of the 12 are in the top 10 in officiating errors against the Red Wings this season.
