Win and hopeful they will win the series, lose and it's series over (no they won't repeat what they did in against vancouver in 2002, different time, much better team etc)

Must-win game. I've got tickets for game 3.. here's to making it an interesting one.

4-3 Wings, with the Sharks scoring the third one late in the game. We keep them out of it for the most part.

Stu, Lids, Hank, Franzen.

Let's go Wings.

Most interesting part of Game 1 was the Sharks almost waiting to see what Detroit was going to do instead of playing their own game. That's why the loss left a bad taste. These overhyped Sharks are so beatable. Cmon boys, let's roll over them today and get home for back to back wins and a stranglehold on this series. There is simply NO excuse for not finishing checks, s***ty passes and lack of hustle. We do not want to play catch up every damn game.

The Game 4, Game 5 or Game 7 efforts we showed against the Coyotes would be great!!!!!!

I expect a more physical game 2. I will be looking for more push from the Sharks. Would like to see 40 shots on net from the Sharks, which would signal more sustained physical play in the Wings end. If I am right, Babcock is going to have to adjust for little Joe's line. Also looking for a big game from Malhotra, he has yet to establish a presence this postseason, it is only a matter of time.

Got to be careful though, we tend to get a little focused on the forecheck sometimes and neglect to pay attention to the back door. If we can contain the odd man rushes and do a better job of cleaning up in our own end, without the frequent turn overs in the neutral zone we should be okay. (Those neutral ice turn overs will be the key to this series. If the Sharks avoid them they win, if they don't Wings win)

Sharks 4

Wings 2

Patty nets one!!!

Besides the 1:19 defensive breakdown and the 6-minutes of non-call on the Sharks, game 1 was ours. We fix these to things and get a PP goal and the Sharks = pwned.

Nice to see some Sharks fans post constructively on the boards.

LETS GO WINGS!!
