This series came down to who wanted it more, and unfortunately, the Wings didn't have the desire or the heart to outwork the Sharks!

I'm really not even pissed. Despite that nice Game 4, it was over after Game 3. Congrats San Jose, you deserved to win, despite the refs help, you were better then us overall.

I'm glad that I dont have to watch anymore hockey this year(f*** every other team in the league, i hate them all except Boston), not much to look forward too though, we're going to have essentially the same roster next year.

I hope Lidstrom doesnt retire, he's still one of the best.

I cannot recall seeing such a horrible referee'd series, the ENTIRE series. I mean, when SJ got in penalty trouble (on the box score) in game 4, the game was way out of hand, so it didn't affect the series. When we kept getting ******* penalty after penalty called on us, it was at crucial times in the game.

I'm disgusted. I didn't think we'd win, but I hoped they'd put veteran refs in for this game, and they did put one but still terribly refereed. Well, it's still a loss, so whatever. But what a joke. Chicago will wipe the floor with SJ. f*** them and the refs.

Chicago will win the cup this year. Good story for them.

Ah well, great season.

Its really good to hear Mickey Redmond talk about the game and he is spot on once again. Lost faceoffs, sloppy play in their own zone, turnovers, being outhustled....Those things do not equate you to winning a game or a series. The Wings did only lose 4 one goal games, but they needed to seal the deal when they were up in 2 of the 4 games entering the 3rd period.

A lot of blame to go around. The refs do get part of the blame, but its very small. The Wings should shoulder a vast majority of it.

It really was a great season.

I have to get up early tomorrow morning, but I just want to say so long for awhile to those of you've taught me stuff, who've made me laugh, and who've stuck by this team. For those of you who will proceed here to rip and tear and say they played with no heart; or they should have played much harder, you can stick it sideways and rotating. I feel nothing but disgust for you.

This team pretty much played their asses off, and not many of us expected them to get as far as they did. I love them and I feel so very bad for them.

Nothing to be disappointed about. Midway through the season there was talk we wouldn't even make the playoffs and well they did a lot better then that. Hope they have a great offseason. I'll be rooting for the Sharks the rest of the way. They deserve it.
