To be spotted two games in a 7 game series is tough for any team, to legitimately lose a 3rd makes it even harder. I for one am proud of Detroit this year, they had a terrible start and if it weren't for bad luck, they would have had no luck at all for a while in 09.
I wanted to see them go deep in the playoffs like all of us, but odds say that won't happen every year, especially with the cap in place (gotta keep Atlanta competitive you know.)
I thought the team played with class and i am excited for the new crop of wings. Miller, Abdelkader, Eaves, and all of the young guys that may not have cracked the line-up had it not been for our numerous injuries at the start of the year, played with a lot of heart.
They made a great run at the end. They bonded, it was visible in their play.

On a side note, my buddy sent me this picture and I probably should have been fired for laughing so hard.
PS - I am by no means disappearing from the board until October, but I do feel a thanks was in order to the team.
