Ok. I was wrong. After watching game 1 I realize that the Sharks are not going to beat Chicago 4 times.

What is it with the officiating. 5 power plays to zero. For Christ sake, at least make it look like they are calling it fair.

I have no problem with the Hawks winning this series, or the Cup. I actually prefer them on San Jose but have money on the Sharks to win the Cup before the playoffs started.

Before the series i thought the Hawks would win. Philly will win their series too. Then the Hawks will win the Cup in 5 or 6.

Please, tell me how the Sharks can go a full game without a penalty. How often does this happen in the new NHL? Even with their one sided blind love for the San Josegay Sharks they couldn't win. Why don't they just give the Sharks a penalty shot, and if they score, they win the cup? I mean sheesh... at least keep it fair. When the Sharks aren't getting powerplays, they are getting beat. Just like today!

I'd take Kane, Towes, Hossa, Keith winning the Cup over Thornton, Marleau, Diveagucci and those clowns.

I'd rather see Toews, Hossa (poor guy), Keith, and an O6 franchise (especially one with a long drought) win the Cup than the Olympic dive team.

As much as I hate to admit it, Chicago did something we couldn't do.

They played a great 3rd period against San Jose and scored a key goal late. Also, they overcame some s***ty officiating, which is something the Wings couldn't do either. You have to be able to overcome that adversity instead of blaming it exclusively for the loss.

Also, I'm impressed with Niemi. He may look like a doll-faced idiot, but he has been awesome for them since the first round, where I thought he struggled.
