Are we ever likely to see this guy over here, he had a bad year with injuries last year. The 08-09 season was a sort of break one for him in the KHL.

I sure hope so, but I doubt it.
A guy with that size and raw offensive potential could certainly benefit from a move to GR, unfortunately it doesn't look like happening.
