In my keeper fantasy hockey league he was a free agent, were allowed 3 goalies, all of mine at the time to good to drop for him, I wish I would of took the risk and grabbed him. He's a phenomenal young man. With saying that I hope that jinx's him and the Flyers light his ass up!Leighton may have been sleeping on that shot.
Niemi is just flat out outplaying him, unfortunately.

I don't remember Niemi being projected to win Cups either.

Niemi is a rookie so his potential is less known. Leighton has been a backup in this league for his entire 8 year career, we have 8 years of evidence. Some in the media were going ga-ga over him when he shut out montreal 3 times, it just happened montreal were dog tired. When you have been a backup for 8 years you don't become a great goalie overnight
