Go look at the replay of the goal. He lifts his leg, and banks it with a pretty obvious kicking motion towards the goal.

I've watched it in slow motion on my DVR (nothing like they have in Toronto), and it hits off his stick first. It gets close to his lifted skate, but I can't say if it did or did not hit the skate.Go look at the replay of the goal. He lifts his leg, and banks it with a pretty obvious kicking motion towards the goal.
I do know that Toronto reviews all goals in the playoffs, so they obviously approved this goal. Though, you always have to take any "Toronto" decision with a grain of salt...
