On a serious note - I highly doubt it...Not that I wouldn't mind Lecavalier in a Red Wings sweater it's just that he makes quit a bit more than either Dats, or Hank (1 of 2 likely guys Yzerman would want in return), and Holland appears pretty keen on keeping both for now.

I honestly wouldn't be too surprised if Lecavalier is moved at the draft later this month.

If this trade would to ever happen, they aren't going to give up Lecavaliar for our leftovers in Detroit. Lebda, Meech, Hudler, Osgood, and all the other under achievers, has beens and so on, that lgw would love to pawn off for a super star.

I get the impression it's just to create some trade talk...That said it's been known for some time that certain players in Tampa want out - however with Stevie as their new GM maybe some of them will have a change of heart.
