puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 LMFAO I love the Dom but come on all ready lol. How old is he now 43? 45, not that it seems to matter. He just won league MVP, best goalie, and lead his home-town team to the national championship in Czech, setting records for wins and shutouts in the playoffs. I hope he plays forever or until he decides it's not fun and a challenge anymore. Rock on, my goalie!!! 1 Original-Six reacted to this

Yeah, based on last season it's clear he can still contribute... which is pretty impressive for a goalie his age. Good luck Dom!
cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 He might not need the money, although I would suggest that he cash those cheques as soon as possible. He's still playing because he obviously loves the game. Besides, he's only six in dog years. 1 55fan reacted to this

Wings_Toledo 233 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Hopefully this signing will drive some of the talent back to the NHL since no one in the KHL is going to want to face the Dominator 2 puckloo39 and 55fan reacted to this

Gordie Howe hat trick 110 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Christ do I miss Dom, if we still had his competitive spirit on this team we would have done much better in the playoffs. The man is the best goalie of the modern era hands down, and he just keeps playing; and winning to boot. Come back to us Dom! 1 puckloo39 reacted to this

CanadaBoy 151 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 (edited) http://blog.mlive.co...eciding_fa.html Money definitely a deciding factor in former Red Wings goalie Dominik Hasek's signing with Spartak June 4, Edmonton Journal: [spartak Moscow GM Andrei] Yakovenko said the goaltending legend has agreed to a one-year deal, but he would not release any other details, including financial conditions of the contract. According to other sources, Hasek is to make about $3 million U.S., which would be about 20 times as much as he made last season with Pardubice. On the other hand, he helped his old alma mater win Czech league championship. Edited June 4, 2010 by CanadaBoy
