considering pronger hadn't touched the puck he probably wasn't expecting that kind of force

It's only interference if it touches your skate first. You can hit them as long as they have it, or haven't made contact with it. But if you are standing directly over it, it's not allowed.

I think this was the first instance of seeing Buff be effective against Pronger in the series.
It's a hard check, but I didn't get worked up into a lather about it.
He got up and back into the play immediately.

Loved the hit, though he was off balance and fell harder just by sheer size from Byfuglien and wasn't real solid on his skates. Will make an exception for it being Pronger though haha. -5 too Chris hell of a night
