If salary doesn't matter I have to say Pronger. As much as I can't stand him he is a great defenseman. I like Carcillo too and he would be my pick if salary were part of the equation but without considering salary it seems like Pronger is a no brainer.

Yeah he is. And much much more.Pronger today is still an above average defenseman, but he is not as dominant as he once was, so the gag factor would not be outweighed by his contribution.

Definitely Pronger. Not even a doubt in my mind. I'd love to have him on the team. He might be able to really help out Ericsson and Kindl.

Salary not an issue? Who wouldn't sign Pronger then?
i definately would not! he's overrated. if he was in a wings jersey, his penalty totals would be at what they should be...about 15 minutes a game.
his douchiness is unbearable. and red is not his colour.
Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.

Despite the massive hate I have held against Pronger in the past, he is still a dominant player. In a cap free world I'd say yes in a heartbeat. I do wonder how he is in locker rooms though.
I voted Pronger, but would love Carcillo in Detroit. I've liked him since his Phoenix days.

The smart choice is Pronger but I love Carcillo! My vote for Danny.
