GD! I dont know who to f'ing root for! I cannot stand Kane or Quinneville or the fans of Chicago, yet I am just realized all the ****** bags that play for Philly! Pronger I can handle on his own, but Pronger, Laperierre & Hartnell? Is there any way they can just cancel the finals this season?
edit: But I do like Ladd, but I dont think its enough to sway me.... ARGH!!!
Yeah, it's a really scuzzy final all around. This year has really thrown the whole "defense wins championships" mantra out the window.

Man, how hard is it to win a final at home? It's so...lackluster to win in someone else's building.
EDIT: I just realized something. The big "drought ending" Cup wins came in 97 and tonight. Both historic wins were against Philadelphia.

Our championship in '97 came on my birthday. I remember sitting there listening to the Detroit radio station as it was a very clear night in Chicago and I could pick it up. I put a blank cassette tape in there and managed to record locker room interviews from Darren, Kris and Steve. It was awesome.
