winning is expected, not a miracle.

Should be etched in the ice at the Joe/whatever arena they play at next . Couldn't care less about the Hawks "fans". Figured they would do as much. Experienced it first hand in a road game last year. Bunch of angry, belligerent, haters of the city. Mehh, they have a Cup now and they still feel the need to let us hear about it... They have mocked almost all we do. So in that case its the sincerest form of flattery.

Who cares? Seriously. Who cares? They won, they can chant/sing/say whatever the hell they want. To the victor go the spoils. Just like if we win the Cup next season, our fans can chant/sing/say whatever the hell THEY want.


I've never seen a group of people more preoccupied with the goings-on of some other team's fan base than this one. Yeesh.

What's funny is the 15 people at the games at the beginning of the season and last season are the only ones that know anything about the chat, the rest are just mimicking like 3 year olds.  80% of the fan base ARE band-wagoners, I live in IL I know how we(as a state not me personally) think of Chicago hockey, prior to this season of course.

Really, we'd chant blackhawks suck? I know no one I knew or even didn't know chanted anything other than support for the Ol Wings in '97, or any other year we won come to think of it.

perfect analogy. its hilarious they think since they won the cup (after not winning in forever) that they are now better then detroit? also i guess a team that has made 19 consecutive playoff appearances, and two stanley cup appearances in the last 3 years, sucks.

They totally dug their key into the side of our pretty little souped up four wheel drive. Carved their name into the leather seats. Took a Synergy 19 to both headlights. Slashed a hole in all four tires. Maybe next time we'll think before we cheat on them with San Jose.

Hmmm...maybe because they just won the Stanley Cup? There's not a whole lot to talk about on an NHL board in the middle of June, believe it or not.

Again, LOL at yet another Blackhawks fan that goes on a Red Wings forum (better yet, this one just registered) two days after his team won the Stanley Cup because he's more concerned with the Red Wings than the Blackhawks.

I've never seen a group of people more preoccupied with the goings-on of some other team's fan base than this one. Yeesh.

Kind of ironic, seeing as the discussion is about them being the ones obsessing with the goings-on of a team that lost in the second round when they just won the friggin championship. How many threads were on this board about Colorado after the Wings won in 08? How many Crosby sucks chants did you hear afterwords?

Honestly, I don't care/doesn't offend me that they were chanting it. I just find it amusing that they felt the need to chant it when their playoff run didn't include playing Detroit. That's all.

I don't think there are that many people pissed about it, I find it funny that after winning the Cup the next thing they worry about is rubbing a teams face in it, a team that they never faced on the road to the cup and a team that was beaten in the second round. Its not anger or hate, its just funny.

Why did you post about your father when the cawks were making their cup run? You were under the impression that we should care about that, so why can't we care about how big a pack of toads the cawks are?

I didn't think that someone that made replies as a hawks fan, we know... it was for your father.... should begrudge any Wings fan from posting in a thread about the hawks, right?

I highly doubt anybody is pissed off at Blackhawk fans for doing this.

Celebrate how you want as long as you aren't hurting anybody or whatever for all I care.

I just find it a bit cute, and a bit sad, that they are giving so much attention to Detroit or the Red Wings regardless of if it is drunk stupid people or sober aware people. Your favorite team just won a championship, shouldn't the focus should be about your favorite team, and not another team or a rival?
