Apr. 8 Chicago, 7:00 p.m.

This schedule is eerily similar to last year's close to the same time of year and everything... Especially with these 3 games above.

Pittsburgh twice again? For a third straight year? Really?????

Enough already, the NHL has got to stop it with this Detroit-Pittsburgh crap.

Most of the home games are listed as 7 PM starts. Is this a typo (normally 7:30) or did something change for the upcoming season?

Its a rivalry, so they have to keep it going somehow. Besides, watching Crosby act like a spoiled brat when the Wings beat him is good entertainment.

Yeah, I know it's a rivalry per se, I'm just tired of seeing that team and that little putz like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

And before I get responses from the usuals, this has absolutely nothing to do with wanting Red Wings to get more coverage or being jealous of the putz.

Of course, the only 2 games I can go to, Atlanta and Carolina, are on weeknights and force me to take time off work. Oh well, at least I'll be able to get $3 on stubhub. That whole hockey in the south thing is really working out.

You also forgot to add when Hank just out and out ownzzzz him every single shift. Its a beautiful sight.

Feb. 11 at Boston, 7:00 p.m.

Hallelujah! The Hockey gods have smiled upon me! I was worried that I would not be able to see the Wings this year. I'm really surprised they are playing the Bruins again, but hey I'll take it!

Nice Montreal and Toronto are in Detroit this year! Cant wait to watch those games. Gonna have to find some tickets to the November 3rd game against Calgary too.

7:00 pm start times = fail

How so? That extra half hour really messes with the schedule? :hehe: I work early as hell and have the Howe package so this will be good to get home a little earlier for the weekday games.

The Wings and Blackhawks have played each other the last game of the season every year since 06/07. They typically play a home-and-home to conclude the regular season, but not every year.

Of course the one game they have in the NY/NJ/PA region is the same day I will be in MI for the Big Chill at the Big House.

Murphy's Law.

Guess I'm going to Boston in Feb.

Well yeah for sure I have noticed that. Went to both home and homes in 08/09. Was hilarious being around bandwagon mania in its first year. Just odd that the Pens come in on the 21st and last year it was the 22nd. Meh whatever.
