SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 Pittsburgh twice again? For a third straight year? Really????? Enough already, the NHL has got to stop it with this Detroit-Pittsburgh crap.
redwings8831 40 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 Most of the home games are listed as 7 PM starts. Is this a typo (normally 7:30) or did something change for the upcoming season?

Its a rivalry, so they have to keep it going somehow. Besides, watching Crosby act like a spoiled brat when the Wings beat him is good entertainment. 2 zettsyukwall415 and Original-Six reacted to this

Besides, watching Crosby act like a spoiled brat when the Wings beat him is good entertainment. Yeah, I know it's a rivalry per se, I'm just tired of seeing that team and that little putz like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. And before I get responses from the usuals, this has absolutely nothing to do with wanting Red Wings to get more coverage or being jealous of the putz. Oh well, at least I'll be able to get $3 on stubhub. That whole hockey in the south thing is really working out.

DyingAlive 27 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 Feb. 11 at Boston, 7:00 p.m. Hallelujah! The Hockey gods have smiled upon me! I was worried that I would not be able to see the Wings this year. I'm really surprised they are playing the Bruins again, but hey I'll take it!

Octopus's Garden 147 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 Not exactly an easy start to the year, is it? Kind of bummed there's no game in D.C. this year.
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 7:00 pm start times = fail How so? That extra half hour really messes with the schedule? I work early as hell and have the Howe package so this will be good to get home a little earlier for the weekday games.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted June 22, 2010 This schedule is eerily similar to last year's close to the same time of year and everything... Especially with these 3 games above. The Wings and Blackhawks have played each other the last game of the season every year since 06/07. They typically play a home-and-home to conclude the regular season, but not every year. Was hilarious being around bandwagon mania in its first year. Just odd that the Pens come in on the 21st and last year it was the 22nd. Meh whatever.
