He doesn't need to do it more than once. He did it, and I disrespect him for it, an opinion which I am entitled to. If he wants to fight, turn around and fight like a man... instead he blindly elbows a 4 time Lady Bing winnder. Coward.

So that 2007 Cup winning team isnt really looking so good anymore. No Pronger, Niedermayer, Beauchemin... at least they have Lubo Vishnovsky as their #1 defenceman

I'm actually kind of disappointed that the 07 Ducks are mostly gone. :( I hated them, but I loved to hate them.

Gee, could we be really lucky and he take his idiot brother with him? Well, I can dream, I guess...

Good riddance. Don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out.

I can't stand him because he and Sasquatch thought it was okay to tag team Homer

Wasn't that the other Needaweiner or am I mis-remembering?

P.S. The Sasquatch Society is going to sue you for defamation of character. :D

He is the only player to win every major North American and international championship in his career: the Memorial Cup, World Junior Championship gold, IIHF World Championship gold, Olympic gold medal (2), Stanley Cup (4) and the World Cup. He's a first ballot selection for the HHOF for sure.

Why all the hatred for one of the best & classiest defenseman of this past generation?

I lost a lot of respect for him after he took the majority of a season off... to just rest.

That had to really rub that locker room in the wrong way. His hemming and hawing forced some regretable moves on the chance he would be coming back and I bet the Ducks are really wishing right now they had held Pronger over Niedermayer.

His elbow on Datsyuk was something you would expect from a player like Matt Cooke - I don't think that is bebing overplayed at all; that's the type of cheapshot a lot of horrendous injuries have resulted from... and on the perrenial Lady Byng winner!

Agreed. I mean, there's no denying he's a good defenseman. though I thought he was overrated in his last few seasons, particularly this past one, because of his smoooooth skating.

I liked him in Jersey, but maybe partly because I didn't see him play a lot. As captain of the Ducks, he really did jerk his team around. Retirement is a tough decision, but he put them in an even tougher spot.

then crap like the flying elbow doesn't help.
