It's infuriating I can't download or send a schedule from the Detroit Red Wings website to one of several calendar applications I have so this is what I wrote to the site:

Here's a brilliant idea ... how about a schedule downloadable to Google Calendar or iPhone or iCal or heck, something as simple as CSV. Not everybody uses Microsoft products.

The site responded back:

Thank you for your Email!
You will be contacted shortly.

I have not yet and it's been more than an hour and a half.

Could be a standard response, but your tone of the note probably didn't help.

While you're at it, request a homepage updated background. Nothing wrong with Eaves and Kronner, but I'd rather see Dats and Z.

There are a multitude of iPhone apps that have the Red Wings' schedule, among a lot of other things, included. Try looking at Sportacular.

Sportacular ROCKS! I love it :) Definitely an app worth downloading.

I don't mind paying a $1.99 for an app.
However if the Red Wings and the NHL hook up PC users, they should also hook up Mac and Linux users as well. If not, it's discrimination.

Does that app need an Internet connection or does it download the schedule information?

Wow... Maybe we should put this in the political forum if your going to be calling the Red Wings racist against Apple users (which I find comical).
