cjm502 165 Report post Posted July 29, 2010 What ever happened with that Ryasensky kid? I found this old quote from him. If anything about the story is true it seems that we wont see him until September. Ryasensky: "I've talked with my North American agent and through him Detroit offered me to play for them. And so in September I'll go to the USA and report to the training camp. I think at the same time I'll sign a contract with the team. I think that in the NHL I can grew up to my hundred percent, because of the small ice and the constant physical play - this fits my game. I'm not afraid of spending a part of the season in the AHL."Translation by RussianHockeyFans.com
Guest mindfly Report post Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) Just false information that's all, he never got a camp invite nor a contract. June 26, Detroit Free Press: Reports out of Russia that defenseman Evgeny Ryasensky is headed to Detroit were smoke. "Nothing going on," Nill said. "His agent called to inquire about interest, and that is all of the discussions." Edited July 29, 2010 by mindfly 1 55fan reacted to this

Guest Hatethedrake! Report post Posted July 30, 2010 (edited) I think if his head is ok to go then Kenny should sign Willie Mitchell. If he can agree to a 1 year deal worth 1 million, he'd be the best fit for the Wings on the 3rd defense pair. Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted July 30, 2010 He'll get more playing time in Washington than he did in St. Louis last year. They've got plenty of beef with Janssen, Crombeen, and Winchester. Maybe we'll see King and Boogaard go at it again!
Guest Hatethedrake! Report post Posted July 30, 2010 I find it hilarious that Ian White makes the same money as Niklas Kronwall does. I mean sure, Kronwall does get injured alot. But in terms of actual talent and ability, Kronwall is light years better than Ian White.
