Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 and people were skeptical about hudler's 54 points in 54 games... this lazy s*** got 39 points in 52 games. zherdev sucks. 1 Skeptikal reacted to this
Guest Crymson Report post Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) This organization does not sign players who have a penchant for being lazy, selfish bastards, for refusing to play defense, or for having a bad attitude. Zherdev has all of the above. You'll never see Holland pay for a player who brings the team down like that. Get used to it and be happy for it. It's one of the main contributors to the fact that the Wings have had a drama-free lockerroom (aside for the Hasek/Cujo debacle) for the past decade, and having a harmonious atmosphere amongst the players makes a big difference. It looks like they'll be trading Gagne. A friend of mine, a huge fan of the Flyers, says it's possible that they may simply waive him if they're unable to trade him. hooon 1,089 Report post Posted July 10, 2010 and people were skeptical about hudler's 54 points in 54 games... this lazy s*** got 39 points in 52 games. zherdev sucks. This is true. Last year or the year before there was some talk around here of him coming to the Wings. Fun to think about, but he really is a waste of talent. Tons of skill that shows itself in flashes, but no work ethic. He is still young though, never know if he'll start working. 2m isn't bad though.
GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted July 10, 2010 He's got great skill, but his style of play doesn't seem to fit their style of play. Then again, it did wonders for Leino, so you never know. Maybe Zherdev will toughen up and play stronger on the puck after playing with a tough team.
hooon 1,089 Report post Posted July 10, 2010 wow He was a 4th overall pick in 03 which was a stacked draft class. Jackets chose him over the likes of Vanek, Phaneuf, Suter, Weber, Jeff Carter, Mike Richards, Zack Parise, Getzlaf, Perry... to name a few. Strange how things work out. Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted July 10, 2010 and people were skeptical about hudler's 54 points in 54 games... this lazy s*** got 39 points in 52 games. zherdev sucks. Jagr only had 42 in 53 games also. In general, the KHL awards the 2nd assist far less often then the NHL, resulting in lower point totals.

Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted July 10, 2010 Zherdev has insane talent, despite all his issues I still would've loved him at the Wings. Good move by Philly.

What's to say that you would have still liked him after watching him play 20 games here? lol. 1 Zeowingsfan reacted to this

Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted July 11, 2010 Work ethic and effort is a problem. My guess is he'll s*** the bed and go back to the KHL.He has immense offensive capabilities, but he's lazy as hell.
