That's 13+25 in 42 games, I do believe. Any reason for his slightly lower TOI last night?

Keep it up, Teemu!

Pulkkinen sniped a goal vs HIFK at FEL Winter Classic. It's end of the first right now, HIFK leading 2-1. Here's the stream:

Pulkkinen with a powerplay slapper! What a beauty!

E. So, Pulk ended up with two goals and five shots. Jokerit lost the Winter Classic 4-3.

It's pretty cool that Patty Eaves' brother Ben is Pulkkinen's teammate.

I wonder if those two ever talk about him and his chances for the NHL.

I'm sure they have, even though Teemu is the kind of person who doesn't want to get ahead of himself and just keeps focusing on the now instead of the future. I'm sure his injury-plagued last season was a good reminder to him.

He should win the rookie of the year award in FEL by a landslide and that alone would be quite an achievement for him, not to mention he is likely a top-10 scorer in the league this season.
Thank You TeeMan

With first line minutes and a better center, he should challenge for the scoring lead next season.

A goal and two assists today plus a misconduct penalty for bitching at a ref after a minor penalty he took.

I think he signed a 2 year deal to stay in Jokerit. Doesn't really bother me, I hope he becomes one of the leagues leading scorers during his time there, which on evidence of this season, he should.

He's only 19, so you'd think at 21 and after 3 full seasons in the Finnish League he'd be ready to step right into the NHL.

Nearly 99.9% of European prospects sign contracts with an NHL-out clause.
