Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted July 26, 2010 Well its yet another boring summer day,and I've been surveying who is remaining un-signed as we near the 1st of August. There's plenty of talent remaining. The possible destinations for these players is still up in the air,but here's what I think: Ilya Kovalchuk-KHL Teemu Selanne-Anaheim Paul Kariya-Anaheim or Los Angeles Mike Modano-Retire Kevin Bieksa-Columbus Mike Comrie-Florida Maxim Afinogenov-KHL Marek Svatos-KHL Raffi Torres-Toronto Robert Lang-KHL Bill Guerin-New Jersey Slava Kozlov-KHL or retire Denis Grebeshkov-KHL Alexei Ponikarovsky-Atlanta Feel free to add who I missed

And pretty bold predictions as far as some of the UFA's. Modano will not retire (not saying he will be a Wing), and Kovalchuk will be a Devil. Too much in his favour, especially considering that there is an absence of literature in the CBA against the severity of his contract.

Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted July 28, 2010 If Kronwall found his rhythm, yes,we would have the hardest hitting blueline in hockey.Calgary has a hell of a tough blueline with Giordano,Staios,Regehr, and Pardy. They've got my vote right now.
