they wont start producing them until hes signed and offically 90. then im sure they will start shortly after. this will be a big seller seeing hes a hall of famer, home town guy, and the man.

ive always liked him, eventhough my old hockey coach who used to play in the nhl said he was *** (literally).

i figured he'd be wearing #90. with 9 and 19 gone, and i don't think anyone would wear 91 for the wings just out of principle, 90 makes sense.

It makes sense. The reverse of 9 or 09 is 90. Boom! 3 imaginary points!

Dallas Morning News got it right. This is a good article, by someone in Dallas that isn't a complete tool.

This is indeed a thoughtful, positive column. Thanks for putting it on here, Miller.

"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

am i the only one who thinks we should have gotten a damn good d-man for a few years than sign modano for one? i think kenny is experimenting with something...

Expound on this...like who at what $ for how long? Enquiring minds want to know. I'm fine with Holland's moves, but your's may be better...what's your idea?

I smell a "what if Modano had retired" at the end of the stanley cup next year.

He wore 27 when 9 was taken in All Star games. I bet he wears 27.

Well, I didn't want it to happen, it'll mean the end of a promising prospect, but whatever.

Ritola is not as promising in my mind. I just don't see his role on our team in the short run. Maybe we resign him down the road. Who knows, but I am not going to miss someone when I feel like Modano gives us a chance at overcoming the very real problem of not being the NHL's team of choice to win it all.
"It is a lot easier to be an ******* to words than to people"-xkcd

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

I like 90...but I think he would have looked sweeter in 27. kind of like how Hossa looked so much more bad ass wearing 81 than he did 18

This might be getting a little heated. Just know I don't hate any of you guys.

That doesn't mean that I respect ideas & opinions. Some ideas & opinions are ridiculous.

In fact, if you confront my ideas & opinions, that will lead to a discussion. (We're on a discussion board after all. Don't forget that!)

Well.......here's hoping he's what the team needs and he proves himself to be a help, not a hindrance. I trust that Kenny & Co. know what they're doing, so if they're on board, I'm on board.

Good luck to you, sir. You'll need it.
