Slave 31 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 i thought their 4th line was round, as in all 0's cuz they can't afford a 4th line... 1 55fan reacted to this
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Anybody have the link to the actual page where that Chicago "fan" gives us their rendition of the 4th line? It's amazing they actually had confidence to post it.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Didn't you hear? So what if they're all rookies, they're going to end up being better than who they had last season!!1!!
Slave 31 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 To be fair who needs a 4th line when kopecky will score 78 goals and get 132 assists, all while playing on the 3rd line without any linemates 1 55fan reacted to this
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Nevermind got it lol... Troy Brouwer ($1.025m) / Jonathan Toews ($6.300m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m) Viktor Stalberg ($0.850m) / Patrick Sharp ($3.900m) / Marian Hossa ($5.275m) Igor Makarov ($0.552m) / Dave Bolland ($3.375m) / Tomas Kopecky ($1.200m) Bryan Bickell ($0.541m) / Jake Dowell ($0.525m) / Jack Skille ($0.600m)
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Frightening. Byfuglien is going to add a lot of grit and crease presence to the Thrash. Don't be surprised to see them contend for the playoffs this season.
pockets 9 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 At least we can say we saw a Thrasher holding The Cup....
hooon 1,089 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Nevermind got it lol... Troy Brouwer ($1.025m) / Jonathan Toews ($6.300m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m) Viktor Stalberg ($0.850m) / Patrick Sharp ($3.900m) / Marian Hossa ($5.275m) Igor Makarov ($0.552m) / Dave Bolland ($3.375m) / Tomas Kopecky ($1.200m) Bryan Bickell ($0.541m) / Jake Dowell ($0.525m) / Jack Skille ($0.600m) But... but... Bickell is kind of big, therefore he is a perfect replacement for Byfuglien, and will have a Calder season. Jake Dowell and Versteeg have the same number of syllables in their last names, thus we can assume that Dowell is an adequate replacement as well. And Skille? Come on, that just SOUNDS awesome, I'm sure he'll be fine!! The more important thing is that the Hawks have incredible goaltending to fall back on 1 55fan reacted to this
Ozzie30 170 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 No. Byfuglien didn't trade himself - I'd have done the same thing.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 I can't believe that with all of the famous folks from Roseau that this is the first time the Cup has ever been there. It even made the Fargo paper, and that takes something for hockey. The only hockey-related thing we've had all summer was a full front page article with a ton of pics when Cullen signed with the Wild.

titanium2 867 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 I don't know.. ask Greg Wyshynski? I don't get what you're referring to. And where did you get that Cleary quote? That's kind of funny.
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Just laughing at everyone asking how the Atlanta Thrashers could ever have a jinx, although true. And just looked up random quotes on the internet and that one was by far the funniest.

mjlegend 155 Report post Posted August 17, 2010 Stalberg on the 2nd line... And Brouwer on the first line! Now, I love me some Troy Brouwer, but as a third-liner, max. You can't expect a Stanley Cup repeat with him riding shotgun on the first line.
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted August 18, 2010 Wishful thinking. Kopy will be on the 2nd line... Yes, which is effing hilarious too. Core....

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 I would think signing with Atlanta is jinx enough. Nevermind got it lol... Troy Brouwer ($1.025m) / Jonathan Toews ($6.300m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m) Viktor Stalberg ($0.850m) / Patrick Sharp ($3.900m) / Marian Hossa ($5.275m) Igor Makarov ($0.552m) / Dave Bolland ($3.375m) / Tomas Kopecky ($1.200m) Bryan Bickell ($0.541m) / Jake Dowell ($0.525m) / Jack Skille ($0.600m) Oh. My. God. That's the first time I've actually seen their lineup. That's beyond brutal! At least put Hossa on top and have ONE good line at least.
