Maybe they have a reason- like they want to see a player for another team. Look at us- both being so helpful and constructive.Why would you care?
Hopefully if anyone knows, I hope they can add more to this thread than we have. Sorry, OP. I have no clue.
My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

My guess would be the Renaissance. During the SCF it was hockey central with the team logos and everything in the lobby. I also asked the front desk if the Pens were staying there, and the guy said he could "neither confirm nor deny that." So I'm guessing that's where they were, haha.

I know the Wild usually stay at MotorCity Casino/hotel, other than the wings I know of no other teams that stay there while in town.

A good handful stay at The Townsend in Birmingham. I' ve also heard of others staying at Ceasar's in Windsor.

Crosby isn't allowed to stay in Detroit, he get's dropped into Joe Louis at game time and then his ass is launched via catapult to Pittsburgh.

This is true. I stayed there during the 09 Finals. We found out the Pens were there. We debated on doing the old 4am fire drill.Alot of the teams stay at the Hyatt in Dearborn in front of Fairlane Mall

I wonder if some of the teams bring their on chefs and such. I know when my son went to the university of Texas Football camp they were giving us a history leason on UT ball against A&M
and they were saying when they go to college station to play A&M they bring their own cooks because they have had kids get sick there in the past while eating at the local places...not to say that they did anything to the food..but you know...hahaha They even said they stay miles out of college station in hotels away from there. hahaha i thought that was pretty funny.
I just wonder if NHL teams have the same thinking. would be funny.
