55fan 5,133 Report post Posted September 22, 2015 I prefer to think of us as being "tied for third". If Stafford isn't at 100% I'd rather they send in Orlovsky. Maybe the offensive line might protect him since he's not Stafford the Invincible.
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted September 25, 2015 I want Shaun oakman at next years draft. He's huge, 6'9 270 lbs and hes cut, its all muscle. he'd look awesome on the other side of ezekial ansah.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted September 28, 2015 Lol. Same old Lions.
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted September 28, 2015 If they dont start playing better, were gonna win 4,5 games tops.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted September 29, 2015 We're not mathematically eliminated yet! Go Lions!
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted October 6, 2015 Were bad this year. Real bad.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted October 6, 2015 Only the Lions would lose a game like that.
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted October 6, 2015 What a disappointing season. At least the red wings start Friday. That'll make my care of the lions losing very, very minimal.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 The Lions got a call in their favour!!!!!
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted October 21, 2015 Well I suppose it's a good thing they won't be going 0-16 again.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) How can a team that looks so good in the beginning and at the end (sort of) look so horrible in the middle? On my tombstone, I want engraved the following haiku: Lions lost again. In other news, water's wet. Big effin surprise. jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted October 26, 2015 Well. The lions fired their offensive coordinator, and their o line coach.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted October 27, 2015 Probably for the best. The Saints' style really didn't play to Stafford's strengths and the offensive line's only strength was putting their shoes on the right feet. Hopefully we can salvage this season and end up somewhat respectable.
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted October 27, 2015 I don't get how our o line is so bad lately, two years ago they were one of the best in the league. And there's no saving this season, might as well stay at the bottom and get that #1 pick.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted October 29, 2015 Jim Caldwell was recently named the worst coach in the NFL. Agree or disagree?
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 5, 2015 Jim Caldwell says the Detroit football media is the most negative of any place he's been. Gee, wonder why that is?
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted November 5, 2015 Well. Lions are looking for a new gm and president. Mayhew and lewand fired today.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted November 16, 2015 We beat the Pack in Lambeau. I can't tell all of you how happy this makes me.

jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted November 22, 2015 I don't understand why the lions don't utilize Theo Riddick more, every time he touches the ball he makes something happen, but they use him so sparingly, I don't understand it. Also. They've now won two in a row, I didn't think we had a chance against green bay, and we beat Oakland scoring only 18 points. Madness.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted November 23, 2015 Theo is a decoy. We keep him to use on occasions where we don't want Abdullah to fumble.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted November 27, 2015 Happy Thanksgiving, indeed! If we can play like that all of the time, we may actually salvage this season. Not saying "make the playoffs" or "win the Superbowl", but avoiding total humiliation is becoming an actual reality.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 28, 2015 Of course, NOW the Lions look good. This inevitably will lead to the Fords concluding that the changes they made were sufficient, and the cycle will continue.
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) Lions looked good, but how much of that is Detroit actually playing well and how much is the eagles being downright awful is unclear. Chip kellys attempt at putting an nfl team together (he's coach AND gm) is turning out to be hilariously bad.
