26point2 203 Report post Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) Another win today...what the hell is this Russia? One more and we'll have ourselves a streak. Stanton had a pretty decent game...CJ came up huge in OT. Morris should be our starting RB. I'm tired from watching that game. Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted December 21, 2010 Welp I had the Lions going 4-12 this year. What are the chances they'll get two more? Damn good!
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted December 22, 2010 I love the Lions winning! Except if you aren't oing to make the playoffs, might as well go for the #1 pick . Come on lions, channel your inner Penguin Haha
mannysBETTER3434 1 Report post Posted December 22, 2010 Go figure I miss all this Lions action! Saturday got in a really bad accident. So Sunday comes around and I'm a half corpse. I started watching the 1st quarter, but the pills knocked me out. Maybe I should take vicodin before every road game..hmmmm Seriously though good win, and hope everyone has a safe Christmas! 26point2 203 Report post Posted December 26, 2010 Another win...defense stepped up at the end of the game. We have ourselves a winning streak..
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted December 26, 2010 You can tell we're mathematically eliminated. We are winning. Oh, well. Good practice for next season...
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted December 26, 2010 Last three weeks have been pretty impressive, at least for the Lions. Henne must have decided to throw his old state a bone because he was absolutely dreadful. Suh was a beast, I can't wait for him to get some experience and be even better. If they win next week and get six wins I'll consider it a monumental accomplishment. The bar is being raised for next season already!

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted December 28, 2010 It's odd how they always play well after theres no chance of the playoffs.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) Dare we to dream of 9-7 next season? EDIT: Also I rescind my earlier comments about this guy.If only I had had the faith in the Lions obvious ability to rattle off four straight wins that he had. Travis 576 Report post Posted January 3, 2011 Good way to end the season. Favre done? I certainly hope so. I don't know if I'm more sick of anyone in all of sports. That 6-10 record is a thing of beauty, really. Also, if anyone has a TJ Maxx near them, they're selling Lions jerseys (Stafford, Best, Johnson) for $15. HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted January 5, 2011 Great job Lions! Might be jinxed now with this recent bit of writing but at least we are being thought about now... Link
Selliria 76 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 /Applause for the Lions! I don't care what anyone says, that was a winning season in my book. I'm a little concerned with how fragile Stafford is. I mean, his talent is exceptional. But he just seems like tissue paper to me.
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) Ndamukong Suh(notes) will not play in the Pro Bowl on Sunday after undergoing shoulder surgery earlier this month. But he's not going to miss out on the experience, and he's traveling to Hawaii. While he's there, he's going to give a little sales pitch to prospective free agents and let them know the Lions, who won their final four games, are not the franchise you've been accustomed to for the past, oh, decade or so. Some have speculated Detroit will make a push for cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha(notes), who is due to be a free agent. yahoo Hopefully he is as good of a salesman as he started off with the Lions This would be just fantastic if he gets some players to come here. Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 29, 2011 NFC North QBs are on notice... the Suh/Fairley power hour is about to begin.
MGreenberg 105 Report post Posted April 29, 2011 NFC North QBs are on notice... the Suh/Fairley power hour is about to begin. It is ok people. The Lions are going to Suh everyone Fairley this season. (Man that was bad, lol) If Fairley has half the rookie season that Suh did, the Lions are going to be scary on the defensive line. 1 55fan reacted to this
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 29, 2011 This was a great pick imo. The defensive front has the potential to be top 5 in the NFL and takes some of the pressure off Suh with double or triple teams. The kid was already wearing silver and blue!! And awesome Wild Thing Vaughn rims
MGreenberg 105 Report post Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) Yeah, I was surprised that Fairley fell that far, I am sure the Lions needed a CB more but they just couldn't pass him up and if they somehow get Nnamdi Asomugha it won't really matter. Titus Young is the Lions second pick. Edited April 29, 2011 by MGreenberg
