I hope Stevie continues to somehow embrace the DRW organization in the future.

Don't know how this will be possible, considering he is the general manager of another, but just sayin. Hope he keeps in touch (by doing stuff like this).

it would be really sweet if stevie was a gm for the wings in the future.

Sweet, but not gonna happen. The loyalty Yzerman had show the Detroit Red Wings he will now show to TB. The only way we get Yzerman back as a GM is if he gets fired and Kenny is gone.

I don't know about that. Kenny obviously will have to step down before Yzerman gets an opportunity. You can bet that they will interview Yzerman when that happens. Until then, with 4 cups to his name, Holland deserves to be the GM until he steps down.

That dosen't make a whole lot of sense. Yzerman showed tremendous devotion towards the Wings - and still withdrew to join another team. Why is it suddenly illogical to assume that Y could do the same working for a team he has a fraction of the experience with?

Because Yzerman left the Wings for a position that he would not find here. Now that he has his position (and now brain-child Lightning) in Tampa, why leave it?

Does anyone know how readily available tickets are at the door for this tournament? I am heading up there this weekend and I was thinking about trying to go Saturday.

Thanks in advance!!

I havn't been in about 8 years, but back then it was always sold out well in advance.
