miller76 463 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 Detroit tried to keep Hudler after the 2009 season, offering him a five-year, $15 million deal. He turned that offer down and decided to file for arbitration.Prior to the two sides reaching arbitration, Hudler inked a two-year, $10 million contract with the Moscow Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League. The arbitration process continued and Hudler was awarded a two-year contract for $2.875 million a season. Hudler

titanium2 867 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 I'm still a little disappointed he left the first time, but I'm glad he's back. Just don't do it again. As a penalty for your actions Mr. Hudler, I, Hockeytown0001, sentence you to being a Red Wing for consecutive years for the rest of your NHL career.

Barrie 900 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 Welcome back Huds, I'll never forget the time during warmups (08-09 season), while standing in the corner behind the glass and watching Ozzie, you fired the puck at my face. You would have hit me square in the nose if it wasn't for the glass! 1 Original-Six reacted to this
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted September 13, 2010 If he doesn't cluck within the first week or be a looney drunk at a celebration parade where you go "I'm not with him!", I'm going to be disappointed!
Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted September 14, 2010 I only hope I like him better this time around. He used to drive me nuts when last playing with the wings. Perhaps my hatred for Bertuzzi's never ending turnovers and useless penalties will drown it out.
